Workshops and Professional Development Services
Featured Workshop:
Create-Lead-Learn
“Creativity takes courage.” -Henri Matisse
Create Lead Learn is a 3-day hands-on leadership experience built for people working in higher education, social services, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Through applied learning, guided reflection, and active practice, participants leave with a grounded understanding of who they are as leaders, how leadership actually works, and how to help others grow in real-world conditions.
Day 1: CREATE
Clarify what drives you to lead and explore your leadership story through activities that use abstract art and personal reflection to surface meaning in ways words alone cannot.
Day 2: LEAD
Practice the supervisory conversations and vision-setting behaviors that drive engagement and performance.
Day 3: LEARN
Participants explore the intersection of leadership and learning science, discovering how to adapt their approach as others move through the stages of skill development, from “I don’t know what I don’t know” to mastery.
Beyond the Workshop: LPI 360’
Complete a 360-degree assessment of observable leadership behaviors and receive a one-hour individual coaching session to translate feedback into concrete behavior changes.
Featured Workshop:
Change Management
“Normality is a paved road: It's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.” -Vincent Van Gogh.
Call it what you will: Readiness. Resilience. Agility. In work and in life there’s one true constant, and that’s the presence of change. The question is: How will you and your organization respond?
In this workshop, we take an organizational change and break it down into 4 very important steps:
Casting the Vision
Transferring Knowledge and Skill
Active Application
Results and Reinforcement
We can use a provided case study, or an upcoming change effort in your organization.
As with all of my workshops, consultation and evaluation are included. Coaching follow up is also available for an additional fee.

Authenticity
Some call it Emotional Intelligence, but I call it Authenticity. It’s the awareness of what makes us who we are, the intentional development of that identity, the ways you express yourself, the habits that align with who you are, and the ability to engage with others in a way that allows everyone to be their true self.
-

Leadership
Leadership is not defined by your title, but by your values and behaviors as a leader. Through introspection and mindful reflection, we can come to understand our leadership style. Through an interactive process with those around us we can understand our leadership behaviors. Through intentional practice and coaching, we can improve how we lead.
-

Teamwork
We exist in a community of interdependent professionals. (Ok, most of the workforce does.) Understanding how we blend our talents, whether it be in harmony or conflict, will impact our effectiveness and our wellness. We can achieve a lot of team growth through training, open communication, and play.
Every workshop is better with Art.
For a small, per person fee, you can add an interactive art element to any workshop. I’ll bring all the supplies, including art paper or canvas, paint, brushes, aprons and surface protection. This addition will create a relaxed learning environment and build stronger community within your team.
If you are interested in a stand alone art event for a special occasion such as a conference, birthday, social event, annual meeting or retreat, book a custom event. They’re amazing.
Looking forward.
Let’s talk. I want to learn more about you, your organization, and where you want to go.
We’ll create a plan and schedule based on your individual goals.
In the end, you will experience the benefits of an open, authentic, healthy workplace.
